In Brazil, its history dates back to the mid-1650s, and since then, new recipes have emerged according to the creativity and desire to make beer. The national beer industry is the third largest in the word, just behind the United States and China, which reinforces its popularity and how it moves the country`s economy. From a projection of 23.93 billions liters of beer in the year 2040, the INPB (National Beverage Production Industry) comes up with the project to supply 5% of this amount with Pilsen beers, Pure Malt Lager and IPA (India Pale Ale) also, with the vision of further diversifying the offer of its products in the future. Given the stipulated percentage, the estimated production is 700 million liters for Pilsen, 300 million for Pure Malt Lager and 100 million for IPA. Located in Rio do Sul – SC, the installation values its proximity to the necessary raw materials and the large water supply. In addition, water quality is a fundamental point for INPB processes, and therefore, steps such as ion exchange and ultrafiltration will guarantee an excellent level of this raw material, without attributing unpleasant aromas or flavors to the products. Cerveja é uma bebida fermentada que se estima já ser consumida a mais de 8000 anos e que ainda atrai novos consumidores com o passar dos anos, havendo uma grande aceitação no paladar das sociedades. No Brasil, sua história é datada desde meados de 1650, e desde então, novas receitas foram surgindo de acordo com a criatividade e vontade de se fazer cerveja. A indústria nacional de cerveja é a terceira maior do mundo, ficando apenas atrás de Estados Unidos e China, o que reforça sua popularidade e como isso movimenta a economia do país. A partir de uma projeção de 23,93 bilhões de litros de cerveja no ano de 2040, a INPB (Indústria Nacional de Produção de Bebidas) surge com o projeto de suprir 5% desta quantidade com cervejas do tipo pilsen, Lager puro malte e IPA (India Pale Ale),e ainda com a visão de diversificar mais a oferta de seus produtos futuramente. Atendendo a porcentagem estipulada, a produção estimada é de 700 milhões de litros para a Pilsen, 300 milhões para a Lager Puro Malte e 100 milhões para a IPA. Situada em Rio do Sul-SC, a instalação preza pela proximidade com as matérias-primas necessárias e com a grande oferta hídrica. No mais, a qualidade da água é ponto fundamental para os processos da INPB, e por isso, etapas como troca iônica e ultra filtração irão garantir um nível excelente desta matéria-prima, sem que seja atribuído aroma ou sabores desagradáveis para os produtos.
